Our highly trained practitioners work with children who are facing emotional difficulties, using a unique methodology to help them explore their feelings, express themselves and grow in confidence. The Art Room is now a fully integrated service within Place2Be, bringing together the two children’s mental health charities’ evidence-based programmes to support children and young people in schools.
Working in studios nationwide, we give children a creative place to learn, achieve and grow. All shaped by the same design blueprint, our Art Rooms are joyful, inspiring spaces where students can thrive.
We’re honoured to have the support of many fantastic patrons. Our Royal Patron HRH The Duchess of Cambridge works to raise awareness of the work we do, and recently visited our Wester Hailes Art Room in Scotland. We’re also lucky to be supported by many high profile people who work hard to raise awareness of the positive, therapeutic work we’re doing to help children and young people around the UK.
We work in partnership with more than 40 schools, helping more than 500 young people every week. We discuss children's progress with their schools to make sure the positive impact of their time in The Art Room endures when they return to the classroom.
