The Art Room has proved to be very successful in providing the support needed to help children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
A quantitative evaluation of the impact of The Art Room from 2011-2013 was conducted by Cortina and Fazel. In this evaluation, published in 2015, students showed a significant reduction in emotional and behavioural problems. A version of this publication can be downloaded here
An independent evaluation of The Art Room funded by Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Omega Foundation was carried out between January and April 2005 by Dr Tony Eaude, who is associated with the Department of Educational Studies, University of Oxford, supported by Sue Matthew.
